Vietnam Pulp and Paper Industry
Country presently has about 300 paper mills which produces about 37% of domestic demand.Vietnam is all set to pour nearly 6 billion U.S. dollers into developing its paper and pulp industry till 2020 and to create new capacities. Present production of papre is about 1.13 million tons of paper of different kinds.
Vietnam Sugar Industry
The sugar industry in Vietnam is currently in transformation as growth in sugar consumption has outpaced domestic production, with the shortfall being met by increased imports. Attempts are being made at attaining self-sufficiency and later achieving a net exporter staus. As per projections by a systematic investment by 2020, sugar production will meet domestic consumption and export demannds. "
